The EPA have recently appointed RPS to be their consultants
for the formulation of the National Waste Reports for the
next 3 years.
The work will include the planning, collation and reporting
of waste management statistics and performance against EU
and national targets.
In welcoming the appointment, RPS
Group Environment Director P J Rudden said - "This
latest appointment by the EPA - coupled with our recent appointment
by the Dept of Environment Community and Local Government
as National Waste Coordinator - confirms our leading position
nationally in waste management consultancy and especially
in the independent and accurate reporting of waste statistics
and performance on a national and regional level."
Both studies will help to inform the current review of national
waste policy by the Minister.
