The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) has made publicly
available an anonymised version of the detailed data underlying
the smart metering gas customer behaviour trial results.
This follows the release
of similar anonymised data from the electricity customer
behaviour trials on the 11th January 2012.
It is envisaged that the release of both of these sets of
data will facilitate further research and the development
of competitive products and services following the anticipated
rollout of Smart Metering in Ireland.
No personal or confidential information is contained in the
data sets - which, instead, give anonymised behavioural and
usage patterns.
