Governments worldwide are seeking to boost economies by providing increased investment for green and clean industries through green stimulus funds introduced in 2009, most notably in the US, EU, UK and China.

The finalists for the 2010 Green Awards have been announced, with a shortlist consisting of a diverse range of companies and organisations from across Irish society.
