Environmental Consultant

Environmental Efficiency invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Environmental Consultant.

This is a permanent full-time position with an attractive remuneration package for the right person.

Main Duties and Responsibilities include some or all of -

• Preparation of EIA's
• Preparation of IPPC licence applications/reviews
• Preparation of Environmental Management Systems
• Preparation of Waste Management Packaging reports
• Environmental monitoring and reports (ambient air, stack, dust, surface water, sewer, noise monitoring)
• Preparation of clients' environmental reports for the EPA and local authorities
• Working as part of an environmental team - and, accordingly, undertaking other duties which may be assigned from time-to-time.

Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will -

1. Hold an appropriate science-based qualification with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in industry or a local authority
2. Have a knowledge of environmental legislation and Irish regulations
3. Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
4. Have good organisational and administrative skills
5. Must have good communication skills, be self-motivated with an ability to multi-task
6. Concern for clarity and quality of work
7. Hold a full clean driving licence.
