Coillte welcomes visitors to Clone Nursery, Aughrim

Coillte Nurseries are holding an open weekend at Clone Nursery, Aughrim, Co Wicklow on the 27th, 28th and 29th of June between 2 and 5pm.

The weekend is intended to provide visitors with information needed to make good gardening and landscaping decisions. It also aims to promote public awareness on the importance of planting native Irish species - particularly in relation to biodiversity.

Visitors can learn about seed sowing, planting and maintenance of trees.  One free sapling will be given to each family who visits the nursery. The public will also have the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of potted plants/shrubs at hugely discounted rates.
