Almost 10 years ago, Tipperary Energy Agency was created
with the support of South Tipperary and North Tipperary County
Councils and the Tipperary Institute.
Since its creation, the agency has been working on a number
of Local, National and European projects. These projects have
helped to achieve a more energy-efficient county, encourage
the development of renewable energy practices and have lead
the way to future projects.
To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, the agency is organising
a 2-day Green Energy Conference - Sustainable Energy Solutions
& Opportunities - on 19 - 20 May 2008 at the Tipperary
Institute, Thurles, Co Tipperary.
The conference will focus on the following topics -
- Energy Balance and Climate Change Strategy for Co. Tipperary
- Technological Solutions - Current and Future Solutions
- Finance and Implementation - Innovative Solutions to make
projects happen - and
- Integration - Bringing it all together.
The first day of the conference will be followed by a series
of workshops and seminars on Day 2.
