Irish Standard 3218

 

The National Standards Authority of Ireland intends to publish the revised standard - I.S.3218 – Code of Practice for Fire Detection and Alarm Systems for Buildings - System Design, Installation, Servicing and Maintenance.

The proposed standard is available for public comment from the 14th of April 2008 to the 2nd of June 2008.

This Code of Practice provides recommendations for the planning, design, installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in premises - including those used for residential/domestic purposes.
