EPA Climate Change lectures

 

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) hosted the recent series of seven lectures on Climate Change (November 2007 - April 2008).

Some overall statistics from the lecture series included -

  • Almost 4,600 people booked to attend over the series
  • An average of 650 booked for each lecture
  • Attendance at each lecture was upwards of 400
  • Almost 600 attended the final lecture on 8 April, presented by Mr John Gormley, TD, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

These stastics demonstrate the level of informed interest in the issue of Climate Change. The EPA was delighted to be able to bring a range of such expert international speakers to Dublin for this series.We request your agreement to contact you again if the EPA has similar, related events which we feel may be of interest to you.
